Chorulus Pennsicus

This select choir consists of 12-20 members chosen by audition. The group was founded by Mistress Arianna of Wynthrope at Pennsic 41. Chorulus Pennsicus performs more challenging works in a small group format. It rehearses in a private camp from 4:15-5:30 pm each day beginning on the middle Saturday of Pennsic. Chorulus Pennsicus performs more complex and demanding music than the full Pennsic Choir normally does. In addition, it's expected that Chorulus Pennsicus singers will come to Pennsic having already learned the music, so we can focus on polishing rather than learning parts.

At Pennsic 51, THLady Siri Toivosdottir will be directing Chorulus Pennsicus.

Auditioning for next year

This year's choir members have already been chosen, but you can audition to sing with Chorulus Pennsicus next year by going to the PARC on the battlefield on Sunday, August 4 at 2:00PM. Come prepared to sing a solo piece a capella. It does not have to be medieval music. You will also be asked to sight-sing a short piece. If you have questions, please contact THLady Siri Toivosdottir. You can also audition after Pennsic by sending a video to the Chorulus Pennsicus director.
